All supervised parenting sessions are held in a neutral, respectful, safe public environment. The monitor will always be present during the parent and child(ren) interaction.
The monitor documents observed interactions and conversations during parenting time. The role of the monitor is also to help facilitate, as needed, cooperation and connections between the parent and child. However, the monitor does not take over the role of the parent. Ultimately, the child(ren) is considered the client in supervised parenting situations. Everything is filtered through what is best for the child regarding visitations instead of what is convenient or easiest for either parent.
Both parents must complete the intake forms. The form is available to complete online. The principal monitor conducts the intake interviews. The Principal Monitor will determine the independent contract monitor assigned to your family.
Unless arrangements are made, payments for the initial visit must be made within 72 hours of securing a time slot. Recurring visit payments are due seven business days before the scheduled visit.
Both parties must schedule an intake phone interview to begin services. In addition, parties can schedule their appointment online.- https://angeleyesappointment.setmore.com/supervisor
In-person (video) orientation and intake phone interviews must occur before the first visit! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! These interviews provide a forum where questions are answered, and a cooperative working relationship is established, creating a foundation for successful supervision.
The role of the Supervisor is not to be a Guardian ad Litem, mediator, or counselor. However, considering the nature of the services, it is in the child's best interest if the Supervisor is familiar with the case history and reason for supervised visitation. Angel Eyes will need adequate information about the allegations to determine boundaries beyond the standard guidelines. A copy of all court orders is mandatory before and during the services, including past court orders that determine custody, visitation, or facts regarding the child's best interest
All COURT ORDERS about visitation are needed, or a written agreement among the parties is acceptable if no court order exists. The Supervisor will not willingly violate any court orders; however, the Supervisor is not law enforcement and can not enforce any court orders, including restraining orders. Therefore, it is the client's responsibility to follow all court orders and restraining orders.
Before any visitation or exchange service occur the intake interview must be completed by all parties.
